We are into the third week of school and have FINALLY returned into our routine. Actually Sean & Raegan are awesome about pulling themselves together in the morning -THANK YOU! Of course all 3 have been sick already, (Gavin has an ear infection- OUCH) I promise you they do not sanitize schools as well as they should. Oh and of course parents tend to send their kids even though they are SICK! PLEASE. Sean has his first Cross Country meet next week. He is a little nervous since he has been out of practice. Basketball will be starting soon as well, Sean and Raegan will both be playing. Sean is hoping to be on Varsity (his fingers are crossed). I however would prefer he just play JV. OH MOM! Yeah yeah I know. We shall see. Raegan loves her 4th gr. teacher Mrs. Lyons- she is the new superintendents wife.
Gavin is now crawling everywhere.. Time to be sure every pea is picked up. He is even pulling himself up and has 6 teeth! We are rocking and rolling. So far we are off to a great start!....

Sean & Raegan
Sean was lucky enough to spend a good portion of his summer with his cousins in Washington! He had a great time experiencing Seattle, crabbing, making friends with some Canadians at the races and spending time with family! ( Of course let us not forget enjoying the drink of choice in Seattle COFFEE!!) We were happy to have him home so that our house could once again be filled with teenage boys. Mr. V lovingly refers to it as the Flop House. Although keeping my fridge stocked daily is a chore all by itself.
Raegan was able to take part in her usual gymnastics class and swimming regularly. She was able to see her cousins Trinity, Josh and Sophie. They all went to the Aquarium with Nana and had a great time. She has become a loving and caring Big sister- she loves her baby brother.

Gavin Scott
Of course you all know of the latest SURPRISE addition to our family! Our little fella joined our bunch on December 30, 2008 (Daddy was thrilled he decided to come early - for tax purposes) Gavin Scott VanCour 5lbs 9oz. Mommy will be sure to tell him the story of his birth. How his father, older brother and sister were in Chicago and how his Mommy arrived at the hospital with 27 minutes to spare! All is well. He celebrated his birthday with Mom, his Nana and Mommy's friend Michelle. Of course the rest of his family was with him the very next day.
Although unexpected we cannot imagine life without him. He is showered with love!
