Scavenger hunt for the basket

Naturally the kids found quite a bit of candy on their Easter egg hunt this year.  Fortunately for Gavin, Nana was sneaking him candy throughout the evening. He went to sleep well enough, however was awake and wired till about 3 a.m. He was so hyped up he was not even sure what to do with himself.  Next year I think he will just spend the night at Nanas house!

It was an eventful Easter weekend with an egg hunt at church on Saturday than of course hunting and spending time with family on Sunday. I made a scavenger hunt for Sean and Raegan with string to follow to find their Easter baskets. It was fun to watch Raegan because hers went outside, around the back in the trees and in through the other side. It finally led her into the pantry where her basket was sitting on the top shelf. It will be a much bigger maze next year with clues to boot! We all found it very exciting to watch Gavin figure out what to do with all the colored eggs all over the ground. Believe me it did not take him long to figure it out although actually filling the basket was a different story.

You know you have to inspect each and every one!   There were even a few that were tossed back to the ground, apparently they just didn't make the cut.

Yucky, Icky Viruses

I love when I finally get the chance to sit down at my computer so that I can upload photos, give a little family update on the blog or just check the weather when all of the sudden, out of cyberspace come all of these pop-ups telling me my computer is being attached by viruses and trojans, oh my.  FIGHT little buddy, fight back! We need you, my camera needs you, my extended family needs you.  He tried I am sure but he lost. I have no idea why an Easter update decided to appear at the top of this page, but whatever! He needs to be taken to the computer doc to be repaired. In the absence of my techy friend there will be a break from my blogging world.  Don't you worry once he returns we will be back in full force with many pictures and updates for your eyes to see.  Until then....
